I wanted to write a few posts about using your mailing list properly. Some stuff is pretty common sense and some a bit more detailed and not as well-known as it could be. Along the way I hope to give you a few secrets about email marketing that will help you be a better email marketer.

Since I own an Autoresponder company I have seen untold amount of email campaigns and tested a lot of variables to find out what works and what doesn’t work as well as having to deal with issues of Spam and deliver-ability.

  • So it’s a good idea to know some of the tips that will maximize your earnings and reduce the chances of you losing your list due to spam complaints and various other pitfalls. Let’s talk about why you should use email marketing….

make sure you have developed rapport.

Rapport is when your prospects feel that they know,
like, and trust you.

So how would you do that?… Especially if a prospect
doesn’t really know you?

Our New Logo – We like it !

We just got a new logo made – a road runner carrying an email with our domain initials on it.  So you will see him around on the site here and there.. We had the artist redo the original so that he was friendlier looking. He did it in about 10 minutes and got it \back to us.

Do you really need a autoresponder automated campaign for your list?

Consider this:

If you don’t have a followup autoresponder campaign that sends out a predictable email on a predictable day after someone comes onto your list, then what happens is this:

A new subscriber comes on to your list.

They will get whatever emails you send to your list over the next 90 days or so.

They may or may not respond, based on the order of your emails and the bond you create.

But you won’t know why.

Because you won’t be able to say, ok, email 8 kills sales, email 12 should go earlier, and so on.

But contrast this:

If you have a pre-planned 90 day campaign where each person gets the same email after the same number of days on your campaign, you can easily study who responds based on how many days in your campaign and make adjustments to this process.

PLUS – if you don’t have an automated pre-planned campaign, if you don’t send an email today, they don’t get an email.

That means if you take a month off…sales die.

If you get sick and take a month off…sales die.

But if you put all your emails in your autoresponder… sales can continue for as long as your campaign is (mine is based on a 3 – year model).
