The tips on this page are specific to Rapid Response Autoresponder
TIP 1: Always make at least one message to prevent a blank email from being sent when a subscribers first signs up.
TIP 2: Don’t forget to make a plain version of any HTML email you create. A very small percentage of people can’t receive HTML emails.
TIP 3: Always do a dry run by signing yourself up to any autoresponder you create.
TIP 4: Customers are REQUIRED TO PUT A FOOTER IN THEIR EMAILS STATING THEIR NAME AND REAL ADDRESS as well as a disclaimer if they stand to make money from any links in their emails. If you break the rules, you could be liable for hundreds of dollars for each recipient that you sent non-compliant messages to. This is due to the strict new CAN-SPAM laws being enforced with fines and site closures. TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY!
Tip 5: Add a graphic to your subscribe button
Such as :
If you want a different look instead of the default subscribe button you can easily change it to any graphic you like. Here is how. You will be adjusting one line of code inside your email signup form.
Look at your form code and find the input name called submit. You will be replacing that line with a link to your graphic.
SO CHANGE THIS:
<input name=”submit” type=”submit” value=”Subscribe”>
<input name=”submit” src=”/images/submit.jpg” type=”image”
AND THEN put the URL to your graphic at /images/submit.jpg
<input name=”submit” src=”http://rapidresponsebot.com/subscribe_button.png” type=”image” value=”Subscribe” />
YOU ARE DONE!
AND YOU GET THIS CODE, THE BOLD SECTION BELOW IS THE ONLY CHANGE:
<form method=”post” action=”http://rapidresponsebot.net/subc.php” enctype=”multipart/form-data”><table width=”10%”>
<INPUT TYPE=”hidden” name=”aid” value=”1234″>
<INPUT TYPE=”hidden” name=”required” value=”lemail,lfname”>
<INPUT TYPE=”hidden” name=”filledfrm” value=”mysite.htm”>
<td><font size=”2″ face=”Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif”>First Name:<br>
<input type=”text” name=”lfname” size=”15″></font></td>
<td><font size=”2″ face=”Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif”>E-Mail Address:<br>
<input name=”lemail” type=”text” size=”15″></font></td>
