Start by paying a bit of attention to your copy – make sure you write as if you are talking to ONE PERSON. Picture them in your mind and write to them – it will make your posts more engaging and personal.

1 Your ads – copy…EVERYTHING gets written to one person.

When I look around at most sites they are not properly setup to catch their visitors traffic – most have a single optin form. You have to rethink your whole approach to this

Read this twice 🙂 If you are checking analytics (and you should be) you can see which pages get the most views – so make sure to target those pages. Remember people are curious and your ABOUT PAGE will get read a lot. So make it a landing page! Have optin forms on it that offer free trials, free books, free courses, free samples – whatever is relevant to your site.

OK – what are some of the actual best ways to use your optin forms?

4 Keep your optin forms with as few fields as possible– name and email is plenty in most cases.

5 Focus on problem solving solutions. It’s an old saying but still holds true that people don’t want a shovel – they want a hole! Add an optin form that offers to send them that solution.

6 People like to have options a simple way to provide an option is to make sure to have a written message under your optin button Like so:

I did a split test once and asked which version of my site visitors liked more and I was surprised to hear most of them said they didn’t really care as long as the information was interesting and useful.

So focus on good content.

lightdoodlemanThe key to that is to put yourself in the visitors shoes. He has a problem he wants solved. So instead of listing all the features of our product list the BENEFITS to the customer and how it will remove their problem.

 

hellodoodleman Be personal – I mean write as if you are talking to a person – use words like you and your liberally.

 

singingdoodlemanBe unique – let the client know what is different about your service or product.

 

restingdoodlemanMake it SIMPLE – people like to quickly get an overview of your service.

 

Provide a knowledge base or FAQ – again keep it short and simple. This allows you to take away any reservations they may have. It will help build trust.
flyingdoodlemanOne of the most important aspects is what is known as a CALL TO ACTION – this means directing your visitor to do something – whether it is signing up for a free ebook or anything else you would like. Just like you signed up for this course. We will talk more about this later but for now it is always a good idea to put your call to action right on the subscribe button. So put “GET YOUR FREE EBOOK”  instead of “subscribe” right on the subscribe button.

Don’t forget testimonials – people love them – they provide social proof that your reliable and worthwhile.

Always include product reviews on the website so visitors will have an initial understanding on what the product can do to those who buys them. Also include testimonials from users who have already tried the product. Be sure that these customers are more than willing to allow you to use their names and photos on the site of the specific product you are marketing.

You can also write articles highlighting the uses of the product and include them on the website as an additional page. Make the pages attractive compelling and include calls to act on the information. Each headline should attract the readers to try and read more, even contact you. Highlight your special points. This will help your readers to learn what the page is about and will want to find out more.

Try to create autoresponder messages that will be mailed to those who input their personal information into your sign up box. According to research, a sale is closed usually on the seventh contact with a prospect.

 

Only two things can possibly happen with the web page alone: a closed sale or the prospect leaving the page and never return again. Capturing thier email address should be the main goal …so providing good content-such as a relevant free ebook-will entice then to sign up to your autoresponder account.

Focus on important points like how your product can make life and things easier and more enjoyable. Include compelling subject lines in the email. Convince those who signed up for your free reports that they will be missing something big if they do not take advantage of your products and services.

Just think, if the person who visited your website has no interest whatsoever in what you are offering, they will just move on and never come back. Write articles for publication in e-zines and e-reports. Locate publications that are focused on your target customers.

Try to write a minimum of 2 articles per week, with at least 300-600 words in length. By continuously writing and maintaining these articles you can generate as many as 100 targeted readers to your site in a day.

Always remember that only 1 out of 100 people are likely to buy your product or get your services. If you can generate as much as 1,000 targeted hits for your website in a day, that means you can made 10 sales based on the average statistic.

The tactics given above are easy to do. It just requires a little time and an action plan on your part.

Try to use these tips for several affiliate marketing programs. You can end up making a good source of income.
